  • Why did you decide to come to UNE?

I decided to come to UNE because i wanted to put myself in a good position for my future in the medical field. I was also given the opportunity to become a part of the first ever football team and make history here. Also i loved the campus and the size of the school reminded me of my high school

  • What do you think about UNE now?

I like UNE still but i’ve begun to notice more things that i don’t like about the school. There isn’t much to do socially past 9:00 pm and the food services are not very good. Security is very excessive and really does whatever they want

  • Unspecified follow up (this is where you improvise a bit)

My favorite part of UNE is the campus, academics, and football. Getting to learn from my professors who really care about what they teach

  • Would you recommend attending UNE to prospective students?

I would recommend it if the student was an athlete or if they were going into the medical field. The chance for those types of students here is incredible because it sets them up great for there future and athletes because it’s a very small school and it’s great seeing so many people you know in the stands

  • Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

Yes i am on the football team.

  • What is your biggest priority this semester and why?

My biggest priority is getting the highest gpa i can get possible because i want to set myself up for the future and i want to be an RA soon

  • Why did you decide to come to UNE?

I chose UNE for the great atmosphere. UNE is the perfect size to feel included and get a great education. They have a great medical program as well.

  • What do you think about UNE now?

I think UNE is the perfect school. The teachers are friendly and the people are great. The facilities are top of the line. I do not regret coming here.

  • Unspecified follow up (this is where you improvise a bit)

What do you like most about UNE?

I enjoy the people the most. I like my teachers, coaches, and friends. The best part is how hard everyone works to achieve success in the classroom.

  • Would you recommend attending UNE to prospective students?

YES! This school is perfect for incoming freshman. It is an easy adjustment as everyone is here to help you. The teachers and advisors made it very easy to adjust.

  • Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

Yes! I play on the football team. It is challenging to juggle classes and practice but I like the adjustment.

  • What is your biggest priority this semester and why?

My biggest priority is to have fun! I want to enjoy the college experience while staying on top of sports and academics. It should very very challenging but I look forward to the challenge.

  • Why did you decide to come to UNE?

I decided to come to UNE because it was just the right distance from home being from MA. It also had my major and track to strive for Graduate school. Lastly when touring the school I felt at home.

  • What do you think about UNE now?

I think UNE is a great place and there’s a ton of great people here. It is a little quiet on the weekends which kind of sucks. Overall I’m happy with my choice of coming here instead of something closer to home.

  • What is one thing that you’d change about UNE?

Overall I don’t have too much to complain about. The only thing that comes to mind maybe the food and while they are not bad meals and often have a variety of foods. Nothing beats a home cooked meal, maybe they could have a night of the week where they make a plate from different cultures around the world.

  • Would you recommend attending UNE to perspective students?

I would recommend UNE to perspective students. While i would recommend it to incoming students I also don’t believe it’s a school for everyone especially people who may fit in better at a bigger college. I think overall UNE has something to offer for everyone.

  • Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

I am currently involved in the Ski and Snowboard club, along with Outdoor Recreation and AES club which is my major. I think clubs are a great way to be involved as a first year. Being involved in these helps you to meet new people as a first year.

  • What is your biggest priority this semester and why?

My biggest priority this semester is being able to adjust to college and how my studying and workload will differentiate from high school. I also hope that I can work towards getting all As and Bs this semester. These are my biggest priorities because if I’m successful i will set myself on track to having a great first year.
